Digital Origin acquires Pericom

Digital Origin Holdings Limited, a wholesale provider of CaaS solutions, has acquired Pericom Limited, a well-established MK-based provider of IT Support services with a specialism in currency rate boards. In the short term both businesses will operate independently with a view to integrate the IT aspects of each business within year one.

Announcing the acquisition, Digital Origin MD James Evans said “We are an ambitious business, keen to capitalise on the opportunity to disrupt our sector by providing IT, Connectivity, Telephony and Mobile services to local and national businesses in an innovative, efficient and cyber-secure package which we call Connectivity as a Service, or CaaS. Joining forces with the highly experienced team from Pericom only strengthens our capability and fire-power to reach more businesses to help spread our word and make their work life easier.”

Terry Wilkins, the long-term MD of Pericom remains with the business, as do all his team. We’ve built up a great reputation over many years with our typically blue-chip clients for providing reliable foreign exchange rate board solutions, both analogue and digital.
