Digital Origin Joins MK Chamber as a Platinum Partner

23rd January 2026

Chameber Certificate

We’re proud to announce that Digital Origin is now a Platinum Chamber Partner with Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce. A significant milestone for our business and an important step in strengthening our local relationships.

Becoming a Platinum Partner reflects our commitment to collaboration, community and long‑term growth. It also aligns strongly with one of our core values: building meaningful relationships that create real value for our clients, partners and the wider business community.

Why the Chamber matters to us

As a growing technology and cyber security business, we believe success doesn’t happen in isolation. The Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce provides an established, trusted network of businesses that are actively looking to connect, learn and grow together.

For Digital Origin, joining the Chamber has already delivered tangible results. Through Chamber‑led introductions, we’ve started forming new partnerships, building reciprocal business relationships and raising our profile locally – exactly what we set out to do.

Everything we do in terms of PR and brand building is intentionally local. Meeting more businesses in Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas allows us to understand their challenges better and support them more effectively.

Sharing knowledge, not scare tactics

One of our biggest motivations for working more closely with the Chamber is the opportunity to share our cyber security knowledge with local organisations.

We’re meeting more and more businesses that are under‑prepared when it comes to IT and cyber security, often without realising the risks they’re exposed to. While cyber threats can sound frightening, our approach is practical and supportive, not alarmist.

The reality is that many businesses are already on a list waiting for a cyber‑attack attempt, and recovery isn’t always guaranteed. Our message is simple:

invest in securing your business properly, or at the very least seek expert advice on best‑practice protection, especially for family‑run and owner‑managed businesses where the impact can be personal as well as commercial.

By working with the Chamber, we can help more organisations improve their data security, build staff awareness, and protect their reputation for reliability and trust.

Proven collaboration: Bletchley Park Cyber Security Conference

Our Platinum Partnership builds on activity we’re already delivering in collaboration with Chamber members. In November 2025, we hosted a cyber security conference at Bletchley Park, alongside two partner organisations, Franklins Solicitors LLP and Fortis Cyber Security.

The event brought together local business leaders to discuss real‑world cyber threats, resilience strategies and practical steps organisations can take to protect themselves. It was a great example of what’s possible when businesses come together with a shared purpose, and it’s very much the type of event we plan to do more of in partnership with the Chamber. You can read the key takeaways here.

Looking ahead: ambitious goals, organic growth

Digital Origin’s goal is to become a £30m business by 2030 – effectively doubling the size of the business we are today.

That level of growth will only be achieved organically. For us, that means:

  • delivering outstanding client service
  • offering best‑in‑class product sets
  • investing in great people
  • and building long‑term relationships based on trust

The Chamber plays an important role in that journey by helping us extend our reach, increase brand awareness and stay connected to the local business ecosystem.

A relationship built on experience

And our connection with the Chamber isn’t new. Stephen Richardson, CEO @ Digital Origin, has been using the Chamber’s international trade services since 2012, during his time running his family’s manufacturing business in the Far East.

So when Digital Origin made the strategic decision in 2025 to increase local brand awareness and visibility, joining the Chamber was a natural choice. Stephen Richardson said,

“Everything that we try to do in terms of PR, we want to be local,”

“Starting to meet more local businesses is important to us. Plus, we want to share our knowledge on cyber security and help local organisations protect their data, their people and their reputation.”

Building the future together

Becoming a Platinum Partner with Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce is more than a badge for Digital Origin. It’s a commitment to collaboration, shared learning and sustainable growth.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to working closely with fellow Chamber members to build stronger, more secure businesses across the region.
